Signed paper - British broadcast executive and the nephew of impresarios Lord Lew Grade and Bernard Delfont. Michael worked for a number of TV corporations before his controversial tenure at the BBC.

He caused several high profile public outcries over his decisions, particularly forcing a "rest" for Doctor Who in 1985 which in later times seemed more to do with his personal distaste of the show, having fired Colin Baker from the title role he remarked to a journalist he thought his portrayal of the Doctor was "utterly unlikeable, absolutely god-awful in fact", reportedly, Grade was dating Baker's ex-wife Liza Goddard around the time.
