Grade - Lew - Lord 02

Signed card - (1906 - 1998) The most influential person in the history of British Television. Commenced his career as an entertainment booking agent, going into partnership with Joe Collins (father of Jackie and Joan). His reputation as a spotter and provider of quality acts grew and he made a name for himself.

By the 1950's Grade was approached with a view to the formation of a company for a bid of the new ITV network. Of course he was successful and applied his skill to bring most of the most popular TV shows to mainstream audiences, The Muppets, Stingray, The Prisoner...
