Signed card - (1901-1979) Influential British fashion designer credited as being the man who put London on the fashion map as he cut his craft amongst the Bright Young Things and Flappers of the turn of the century, adapted to the needs of the debutantes and attracted stage and screen beauties as clients, designing whole wardrobes for film sets.

His most prominent achievement was his ascension to Royal Warrant as Dressmaker to HM The Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother.
