Signed card - Château Margaux is a Bordeaux wine estate that produces prestigious and expensive wines. In 1771 wine from the estate became the first claret to be sold at Christie's and its wines are on record as the most expensive bottles ever broken as one was insured for $225,000.

After the Bordeaux economic crisis of 1973, the owning family were forced to sell the vineyard that was acquired by the Mentzelopoulos family who restored it to it's former glory. Laura was the head of the vineyard's wife.
