Signed card - British biochemist and twice Nobel laureate in chemistry being the fourth person to have been awarded two Nobel Prizes.

He determined every protein has a unique sequence which was key to developing ideas of how DNA codes for proteins, this earnt him a first prize in 1958.

He then developed the “dideoxy” method for sequencing DNA molecules called the "Sanger method" which he later applied identify the first fully sequenced DNA-based genome entirely by hand. This was instrumental in the Human Genome Project earning him a second prize in 1980.
