A Autograph Signed Letter by Franklin D Roosevelt (30.01.1882 – 12.04.1945) American President 1933-45. Franklin D Roosevelt, one page, Washington, 11th December 1913, to Edward C. Ford, on the printed stationery of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Roosevelt forwards his correspondent a cheque (no longer present) for $400 in payment for a collection and comments 'I will be very glad to hear from you any time you run across any more treasure trove in connection with naval subjects.' The signature is a little light, although perfectly legible.
