Byron - Lord 01

Signed letter - (1606-1679) Richard Byron, 2nd Baron Byron, English Royalist, knight, and supporter of Charles I during the English Civil War. He fought in the Battle of Edgehill as a "Valiant Colonel", and was knighted in 1642, succeeded by his son William Byron.

Dated 7th October 1673, the manuscript document relates to a payment of £125 upon an annuity of £500. Boldly signed at the foot.
