A Autograph Signed Cheque By Anthony Trollope (24.04.1815 - 06.12.1882) English Novelist. being a signed cheque,Dated 17th December 1868. The partially printed cheque, completed in Trollope's hand, is drawn on the Union Bank of London and made payable to Frederic Chapman for the sum of £205. An ink stain and bank cancellation of a pen stroke affect Trollope's signature, although it remains legible. Some very light age wear. But Very Good For Age.

Frederic Chapman was a partner in the British publishing house Chapman & Hall. In 1868 Trollope purchased a third of the company for his son, evidently the reason for issuing the cheque offered here.
