Signed page - (1875-1970) British writer, particularly of romantic thrillers, having had over 50 novels published during his lifetime including The Big Picture, Murder Calling, The Lexicon Murders, The Ryecroft Verdict, Garments of Repentance, The House in Cavendish Square, Presumed Dead, Corpus Delicti....he also invented the game, Lexicon, the namesake of one of his tomes.
