Fils - Alexandre - Dumas 01

Signed card - (1824-1895)French author and playwright, the son (fils) of Alexandre Dumas, also a writer and playwright. Dumas junior's works were more well known than those of his father's and dominated French stage for the latter half of the 19th century.

Most notably, he penned romantic novel The Lady of the Camellias that was adapted into a play, and became the basis for Verdi's 1853 opera, La Traviata.
